Rowen

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I have come across rabbits online many times while looking for websites providing information on appropriate rabbit care. I just got an 8 week old female bunny named Rowen! She is a Netherland Dwarf and Holland Lop mix so I am interested to see how she turns out!
Rowen is very playful, and does not yet trust me, but she has made lots of progress. The first day I got her, she didn't eat a THING until late into the day, so she is getting used to it (to be honest, if I had left my mama, papa, brothers and original human caregivers, I would be scared and sad too). She likes to play in a shoe box as well as chew on cardboard pieces. I haven't yet seen her full personality and she is still getting used to the place, I don't want to overwhelm her by taking her out of her cage (safe spot) too often. That being said, I am in the process of making an NIC cage, which should be ready by the weekend. I bought her a small cage, figured it would be good enough for her to roam in and out freely, but I find that challenging and I prefer that she be in her cage while I am at work/sleeping. It's way toooooo small for her to spend so many hours in there!! So I'm making a bigger one yay
