I found a bun that I am interested in, she is 6 weeks old and 1/2 Flemish and 1/2 Rex she also has a brother available. I am thinking of getting her for a companion for my mini lop and am wondering how to go about introductions if I do. Should I wait until she is older to introduce them? Would it be a bad idea to get both her and her brother? Could the 3 buns ever bond or would that be asking for trouble? I just love these bunnies!

Figured it out

This is the girl

I decided to get the female. Let's keep our fingers crossed that my mini lop bonds with her! I will take it slow, I have never done this before but I don't want him to hurt her!

Just take your time and check out the library section there are great resources there to get u started. I love the girl BTW!!!! do u have any names in mind???

they are so adorable, make sure to keep us updated with lots of pics once you bring her home!

I got her last night, she's actually about 8 weeks old which I think is a better age to leave her family anyway isn't it?

I haven't thought of a name yet, she is a sweetie, likes to sit on my lap and squish beside me. I set up an enclosure on the main floor of the house for her until my mini lop and her bond. I let him out with her inside and he was licking her nose through the bars, then he somehow managed to jump in with her, totally not my plan at all, but there was no fighting or biting. He circled her a bit and groomed her and then mounted her. That's when I took him out. I think he's in love. I'm still just going to let them have short times together until I am sure he won't hurt her.
