Okay, Max is now almost 10 weeks old. Not only does he not know how to pose correctly, I'm just learning, too. I hope these pictures are good enough to critique him with. At least this time he sat still longer than .06 seconds. LOL

LOL! They usually don't touch the ground, but he was getting pissy and smashing his head down. When he gets tired of my posing him, he tries to flop over on his side, too. He definitely has his own mind. LOL

The photos are nicely done and I'm glad that you included a number of different views. The only other I'd add is a shot from the rear.

Max has a nice head, ears and crown. Appears to have decent shoulders and mid-section. Lacks fullness over the hindquarters (hollow over the hips). Nice depth.

Looks very promising!

Thanks, guys! I absolutely love him to death. Even if he doesn't cut it on the show table or breeding shed, he'll have a home for life. :)

Pam, I forgot the back shot. I'll add that here in a minute. Do you think his hindquarters will fill out more, with some age? Or is that pretty much set in stone?

This was actually taken a few weeks ago, but he basically looks the same (I think). LOL My daughter went to bed or I'd snap another one.

He is a little flat but at 10 weeks a lot can change as he gets older. He can get better or worse. I have both out in my rabbit area and both were promising at 10 weeks.

I adore Max :inlove:

I saw part of a rabbit show on the local farm channel this weekend! I didn't even know we HAD a farm channel! It was cool to see how the judge worked with the rabbits. It happened to be junior french lops on the table. :) Then they went to judging nuts :(

Thanks, Brandy. :) He's turning into a pistol, for sure. As soon as I say, "Ma-ax", he comes running over. And when I lay down on the floor, he hops all over me.

I can't wait to show him! I might take him to Lebanon next month, just to get him out and about, and see how he stacks up to the other junior Frenchies. Not sure, though, because he won't be 4 months old by the time of the show.
