Today i managed to sex my litter of two from Pearl. As it turned out she had two boys. It suddenly occured to me that all the litters that carried Max factor babies had only boys that lived. (I don't know the sexes of the actual Max factor but I am beginning to suspect they were female. It is just odd that in all three litters (two different sires) I only ended up with males (7 in total) She had one other litter by a buck who must not have been a carrier. There were two female and one male in that litter and no Max factor.
Could that really just be coincidence?

Coincidence. :D I had a litter of 2 live, 4 maxes, and it was a buck and a doe. I also get one or two in most litters, since all of my sable points carry for the gene. My girl/boy ratio evens itself out most times.

My other max factor litter (different doe) seems to be one girl one boy. May be it was just something particular to the other doe.
