I just got an excited call from her new owner. Mathildis Van der Weed just won BIS at the Siskiyou County Fair less than 1/2 hour ago.

Oh, yeah. Glad I kept her sister. LOL

That is awesome! My Polish doe won Reserve in Show this year at County Fair. I was so proud! What breed is Mattie?

That is what is so wonderful about it. Mattie is a fawn flemish giant.

To tell you the truth, I think this is the first time in 6 years out of something like 60 shows, I have seen a Flemish take BIS in an open show. Fabulous.

Most of the time, Flemish win BOB and they may even win Reserve in Show, but at opens usually the top slot goes to another breed.

My deal at opens this past two years is I take BOB and BOSB, and lose the show either to Angoras or E. Lops. LOLOL
