Oh wow, I didn't know their front legs were so long!

Her face looks sort of likea Mini Rex face, or at least it does to me in that picture.

The Belgian Hare has very long, finebone. Her face in the photo does appear to looksomewhat like a Mini Rex. The Hare face is more sculpted, fine and they have a pronounced wild-look to their eye. Theyalso have very large, paper-thin ears.

She's a sweetie : )

And once again -- making certain we didn't bring any empty carriers didnot stop us from bringing home 2 rabbits today. (Son Billy brought homea Holland Lop).

Can we see Billy's Holland Lop?

Matthew and his baby girl look gorgeous together.

Is this your first Hare, Pam?

It was time for you to get another big rabbit. What did Matthew nameher? As Gypsy said, they're such delicate and strong animals.

Can't believe how big Matthew has gotten. He's almost not a 'little boy' anymore.

This is our very first hare. I was going to get a red onethat the breeder said she had for us today, but opted for the doe thatMatthew could show.

Mr. Al Butler --revered Hare breeder and long-time judge hastold me not to be afraid of breaking them:) I'm lucky to also have a couple Harebreeders living very close to me, so have had a lot of opportunities toplay around with them.

As for the hideous Chestnut Holland Lop -- just a Holland Lop breederjoke that Hollands aren't accepted in any color except Tort :)

LOL!!! If I could only count the times that I've heard that statement. Matthew's new bunnie is beautiful!!

Pam is a falsestatement that Hares aresnotty like Checkards? when I ws handlingthe hare i was told to watch wherethe mouth was in case of a nip ?

Checkereds are known for being vicious, wherethe Hares are more docile. The Hares do not run on the tablelike the Checkereds do, so the same temperament is not desired.
