SHE'S A BOY.

I never thought... I just was like, oh, looks like a girl, it is a girl whenI first had her, when she was just a tiny baby bunny. Never bothered again. Then all this with Breakfast, I wasn't sure. So I checked.

And underneath that long fur there were two obvious boy bunny goolies.

GOOLIES. MARY JANE.

I laughed for about 20 minutes, tears streaming down my face.

Don't ever let me raise rabbits or take in rescue litters. I can't sex young bunnies to save my life!!!!

What does this mean for the boys? Obviously now that I know MJ is a boy, he is getting the snip snip SOON. We're going to Des Moines at the end of next week, and I'm going to make an appointment to get it done then (for MJ, not Breakfast.)

Becca would love that! Haha. It'll stand for Mary Jane still, since it was never a girl's name in the first place (think hard about what else is called Mary Jane ).

But it would be a nice little tribute, especially since when I thought Breakfast was a girl he was going to be Billie Jean.

I had them in the kitchen for a bit of a run together, watching them.

MJ is in love... He follows Breakfast around and flops down by him. Breakfast doesn't mind, but he'd rather binky around. He did groom MJ very nicely though.

In some of the pictures Breakfast looks a lot Peg's Tiny.

If they still want to be together after they are neutered good for them. They make a handsome pair.

LMAO, Goolies is a rat term for testicles... I didn't know if the rabbit people had a slang they used especially for rabbits, haha.

Someone actually offered me one of their spayed females if I wanted one... I told her I'd really have to wait and see. But it's possible they could be a trio. Way down the road.

They'll be okay if they get along now, MJ is getting neutered within this month, and then Breakfast in another 4 months...? Well at least that is what I am hoping for! MJ really does seem to like Breakfast a lot.

LOL on the Mary Jane reference! Mary Janes were also patent leather shoes back in the Middle Ages when I was a kid...

LMAO That's right!! The shoes! Nur! LOL Well... The OTHER thing. Hehe.

And yes, a neuter will be a lot cheaper. I'm calling the ARL here tomorrow and asking them what vet they use, then I'll call that vet and see how much the neuters are. Should get MJ snipped next week!
