Marley & Me

Has anyone ever read the book Marley & Me by John Gorgan?
I LOVE that book! It's my all-time favorite! Since I read it I said it'd be an awesome movie and when I heard it was coming out as a movie I was so excited!

Then I saw the trailer last night...
OMG I CAN'T WAIT! I am so excited I could scream! :yahoo: I was laughing at it because I remember some of the parts that were shown in it!

It goes into theaters December 25th! Guess what I want to do on Christmas? :biggrin2:

it's a great book! and it just might be time for me to go to the movies again.....(the last movie I saw in a theater.....Finding Nemo!...it's been awhile LOL)

Talk about coincidence...

When I was in Washington a couple of weeks ago my sis and I were in a Barnes and Noble one evening and I happened to spot this book on sale. I'd never heard of it but picked it up excitedly, as it looked so cute. (LOL...we also discovered that Madeleine Albright was upstairs doing a booksigning, so we got to meet her...but I barely noticed, as I was more excited about the book ).

So I just started reading it the other night and have discovered it's one of those 'can't put it down' reads. And then my sister and I were out yesterday and what did I see? 'Marley and Me' in paperback version, but with a blurb about a movie that's just been made about it. And now I come here and see you've posted the trailer! This is most definitely a 'must-see' movie!!

(And some day I vow to write a 'Yofi and Me'...if I survive his antics...last night I went to bed only to discover it was wet. Yep, Yofi had been in my bed and had peed in it...grrrr)

I got the book this summer when I was waiting in the airport. I loved it and was rather sad when I finished it lol.

For sure I will be seeing the movie.

I loved the book. made me laugh and cry. funny enough my friend has a lab who is very similiar Lol shame she doesnt read books!

we will have to wait longer for the film to come out I guess

I want his other books. I have a amazon gift card. I'll have to see if I can find any on there!

Bassetluv- The book is addicting! I started reading it again last night and I finally had to put it down because if I would have kept reading it would have been nearly midnight!

The book brings a lot of emotions to you. Laughing was a big one. I also cried.

If I ever am talking about books and someone asks if I know any good ones I say "Marley & Me" all the time! I just LOVE this book!

Now to go to bed to read some more.

I love the book, they even have a kid version of the book. When my husband was in Iraq, i bought that book for him and sent it to him. it took him awhile to get around to it.. lol but once he started reading it he couldn't put it down. more and more people saw him with that book, everyone wanted to read it. so the book that i bought for my hubby got a lot of good uses out of it.

After we found out we were pregnant, he was scared to tell people and wanted to wait because of what happend in the book. we are interested in seeing the movie as well!

Oh and another good book that I enjoyed was Enslaved By Ducks. This one deals with a great variety of animals and how his wife always brought home more animals lol This book is what got me thinking about bunnies. never had any bunny experience before, but i now own a bunny and i am amazed everyday how I never had a bunny before!

I read the book.

It's been a while since I read it and dont think I have the copy of it anymore, but I do recall being less than impressed with the care towards the end - condition and suffering-wise.

Because I dont have my hands on the book at this moment I can't go into specifics though.
