Yesterday I went and bought my two house bunnies a litter tray each, my newest bunny Cherry (Female) she had a litter tray at the pet shop so took to it straight away, but Chance (Male) won't use it first he moved it and peed and poo'd where it was so I attached it to the cage so because he couldn't move it he went into another corner, he's not done as yet also I don't know his background as he was found roaming around, he's very much like a child, he had a temper tantrum with the potty because it was there, anyone have any ideas?

Oh boys do like to make a mess don't they! He's probably not used to a litter tray (at all from the sounds of it!) a good way to promote using the tray is putting hay in the end that he wouldn't poop in. Rabbits like to eat and poop at the same time so it gives him incentive to go in the tray and then further reason to go potty!
I'm sure once he gets the idea, he'll be using it plenty.
Good luck!

That's a really good idea actually, don't know why I didn't think of that haha and yes boys do he's terrible, worse than my actual 2 year old sometimes haha, I'll give it a try though.

Thanks, I'll probably need it haha!

Selina is correct as I have an unaltered buck. And mine will still do one or two random pees in his cage/crate. I will clean it with vinegar and it's like he's telling me stop with the smelly stuff. We clean his cage every other day. But most he does in his litter box where there is hay in the front of it. Plus his food is close to his litter box as well. So if the hay doesn't work put his food bowl next to the litter box.

Try rinsing it with vinegar, a pet safe cleaner and my bunny loves the smell!

We have had a sort of break through, he is now peeing in the little box just not pooing so what I've been doing is picking up his poos and put them into his litter box

I read that buns mark territory with poop as well as pee so it could be that? Dope was terrible until I got him fixed! Hormones ay!

Yes buns do mark territory with poos as well as urine. This usually slows down over time. However you mentioned he is not neutered and you also have a female in that case it could continue on until he is neutered or he may stop if you separate the two.

Also you could try putting a hay rack above the litter tray as bunnies tend to poop whilst eating this way should encourage your bun to do his business in the the litter tray and keeping everything hygienic.
