i want to make a shredding/digging box but ive never made one before.

what do you guys put in it and what things can they have? how do you make one? i want to make one so he will stop tearing up his blankets and he likes to dig.

thank you

You need a fairly deep box or plastic bin, to keep the contents from being dug out of it, then cut a hole in the side, if the box is too tall for him to hop into over the top. Make sure the hole is high enough that the digging contents can't be easily dug out of the hole, but low enough that your rabbit will be able to hop in there. I think shredded paper seems to make the best digging material for indoors. Hand shredded or machine shredded works. You could also just put an old phone book in there and let your bun shred it himself. One thing to watch out for is him deciding it also makes a good litter box. That's where a plastic bin makes a better dig box, because the pee won't leak out onto your floor, if he does use it as a litter box.

can you guys post a picture of your shredding/digging box? hhehe so that ill have an idea of what to do. =)

Really, just make it however you like! You'll find out what your bun likes best. I made one for Rory because I noticed her digging at the floor of her cage a lot. Of course, she ended up pulling things out of it instead of jumping in to dig, and Doc was the one who got in there and dug around. Go figure. :p I just used a cardboard box my roommate was going to (maybe, eventually..) recycle. I ripped up some newspapers, balled up some packing paper, threw in some TP and paper towel tubes stuffed with hay, and also threw some pellets on in there. Doc loved it, but he ended up peeing in it and I threw it out. He's perfectly potty trained, but something about a box like that might make the best trained bunny want to pee in it.
