major shedding issue

Gizz is shedding really bad, I can easily pull off hand fulls of fur, I can also see a line were the fur has been coming out, I am wondering if this is cause for concern? he is on timothy based pellets and has access to unlimited hay and fresh water, I only feed him veggies once in a while since his tummy is so sensitive. Could this happen to have anything to do with his diet?

Sounds like he is moulting. This happens about 2-4 times a year, usually around when the seasons change. You should brush him to remove as mush of the shedding fur to help prevent him from ingesting too much. Also make sure he eat lots of timothy and stays hydrated so he can pass and fur he might ingest.
