She might not like the hay you are giving her...you might want to try a different kind

Hi Varna,

Glad to have you back. I hope you're feeling better.

One of my bunnies prefers pellets to hay, so I've had to decrease thepellets so he'll eat more hay. Otherwise, he'd just eatpellets and leave the hay. Maybe Lucy is filling up on otherfoods?

Hi Varna,

How are you feeling??

Brindle started taking her hay out of the rack and spreading it around on the bottom of her cage.

She started doing this a few weeks ago after we had litter trained her.

I catch her munching on it so I know she's eating it.

Sometimes she won't eat any hay for a day or two. Other times she can't get enough.

She's kind of picky about the quality of her hay, too. She pushes all of the hay she won't eat into one corner of her cage.

That little Lucy sure does like to worry you!

Hope you're doing well, Dear Heart.

I went through that withDaisy. At first I thought it was because I had changed thebrand, so I went back to my old brand. Now, I've decided shejust doesn't like her hay so much and would prefer pellets and veggies.

I sometimes worry that she won't get enough fiber or her teeth won'twear properly, butmy vet says she's doing just fine.
