Is it okay to use these instead of giving my bunny standard timothey hay etc?

I was told by the pet store that the cubes are just compressed hay, so its easier to store and that its the same to the rabbits.

Thoughts?

The cubes are a great supplement to regular hay, but the buns still need the long strands for proper wearing down of the teeth and gut health. The cubes are healthy and provide great chewing entertainment for the buns. I would continue to have regular hay available 24/7 though.

Lucerne is the European name for Alfalfa. So if your bunny is an adult, feed those cubes sparingly.
If you want to feed them regularly, see whether you can get Thimothy cubes instead, or other grass hay cubes.
Also, make sure they really are just hay, and that they have no fillers or other ingredients in them. Some do, to make it easyer to keep the cubes together.

It is true that these cubes are a good treat, but he will need long-strand hay as well. Also, if he is an adult, these shouldn't be given too often.
