I posted this in the temp forum last night, but obviously it's gone now...
It's my mum's 55th birthday on Weds bless her, and she's never been to a spa or had a massage. So along we went, to here!
Bath Thermae Spa
We were just going to have a 2 hour spa session which is use of the pools, steam rooms etc, but when we got there they had spaces for treatments available! So we upped our session to 4 hours in the spa area, and my mum had a traditional massage, and I had this:
Dream Flotation Cleopatra Bath!!!
It was AMAZING! First they massage you with an exfoliator all over, then you shower to rinse it off. Then they rub some hot cream into you, wrap you up in what seems like a plastic bag and cover you with towels. Then the sides of the bed, which are plastic, wrap round you, and the therapist presses a button and the whole thing fills with water! You float there for about half an hour or so in the water, but you stay completely dry. Get a foot massage as welll!
They have a thermal pool, jacuzzi area, mini 'lazy river', 4 steamrooms with different essential oils, a 'waterfall shower' and a rooftop thermal pool with jacuzzi! We were swimming around in the open air whilst it was snowing! Lucky it was warm in the water lol...
You just walk around in your dressing gown and bathing suit all day, even to go to lunch! We loved it. I feel so relaxed now that I could just fall asleep. It's hard to stay awake for dinner lol.
Just what we needed! :biggrin2:
