Look What My Nana Brought Me Back From Georgia...

Of all the things my grandmother could have brought us back from the US she brought us back lollipops with insects in them lol! Some have crickets in them and some have scorpions in them I got two cricket ones, which I am not going to eat lol! My brother ate a scorpion one and my neighbour ate one of the cricket ones we gave him, some pics! Oh and these are actual real insects believe it or not lol!

She got them in Savannah, Georgia, she was in Ohio too but she much prefers Georgia to any of the places she has been in the US (Ohio a couple of times, Miami, Hawaii, Florida), the first thing she said when she came home though was she wanted a decent cup of tea lol!

I still have them and haven't eat them lol, they are too disgusting, they are interesting to look at though since we don't have crickets and scorpions here.

I dont' think I'd want to suck on a bug. I've seen chocolate covered bugs or crispy fried ones. I might try eating one of those as you eat it and its gone, but sucking on one, ewww gross

I've seen the bug lolipops before. Usually they are tequila flavoured and have a worm in them. Yuck

Lol i've seen bottles of alcohol with scorpions in them! I guess it gives them that extra sting! Ok that was a cheesy joke lol!

Oh, Savannah is beautiful! I live about three hours from there. I'm glad she enjoyed our southern hospitality. Not so sure about the bugs in lollypops though. Never actually seen those before, lol. Next time I go to Savannah I'll have to look for them.

Lol on the tea. My friend has a beau in Ireland and we are always arguing about tea, haha.

LOL! My mom brought me back some very similar candies from when she went on vacation... I got this weird little scorpion dude in mine
Honestly, it's been about 7 years, and I still have them.. haven't worked up the nerve to lick one yet... I bet the hairs on the little legs would tickle my tongue...

Hehe my brother ate the green scorpion one he said it didn't really have a taste just felt weird, I would suck on them if the crickets were in the middle but they are to close to the side for my liking lol.
