Long Distance train here, Iowa to N Texas

Hi, I'm a new member here and this is an intro and offer of transport for buns.

My name is Savannah, I'm 46 yrs old, I'm a single mom of 8 yr twin boys. We have 2 parakeets, 2 finches, a lazy cat and a newly acquired Netherland Dwarf named Bekka the Bunny.

We live in north central Iowa in a small community called Duncombe. My ex-husband/boys father, lives in Sherman, Texas, just north of Dallas about an hour. A couple times a year he makes the trip up here to pick up my boys and take them back to his place for a couple weeks and then drives them back home to me. So we're looking at 4-8 round trips a year. Now we think it would be fantabulous to be more productive about these trips. Also, he just lost his current wife to cancer yesterday and I know something like this will definitely give him a boost he needs. He will be driving up here Easter weekend to get the boys, and returning them a week later.

So my question is, are there any buns needing to hitch a ride on the I-35 corridor between Dallas and Des Moines? If so, please contact me at [email protected].

Hi Slave, I went to the frapper but I can't figure out how to join it. I must have spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out. I click the join button and nothing happens. Knowing me it's an ID10t error, lol.

Haley, good to know! Also remember that we are are looking for a companion for our Bekka, so if there are any nettie dwarfs let me know, or any small breed of rabbit similar to our bun Bekka. Male or female.

I guess I wouldn't be too picky about Bekka's companion so long as it was neutered and wouldn't hurt her. I'm not predjudice against large buns either...actually I like big buns!!! LOL! I know lots of ppl like small bunnies but I think a large one wud also be adored by our kitty, he is very affectionate and wants to love on Bekka, but I'm afraid he wud smoosh her as she is so tiny, and so I don't let him round her much. Too much love can be a dangerous thing in his case as he is 17 pounds of floppy love.
