At the moment I still have two same sex pairs (two bucks and two does) from my first two litters. One of each was actually sold at around 8 weeks but as the new owner was going on holidays I suggested to hang on to them until his return. I was delighted that he agreed.
He is coming on Thursday to pick up his two rabbits (now 12 weeks). I obviously can't put the remaining boy and girl together for company at this stage but I am really upset at the thought of them suddenly being alone
I have 8 pet rabbits (spayed/neutered) who are all very set in their ways and would probably be nasty to the little ones. The other option would be trying to rebond the girl to her mother even though it's crazy as I am still trying to breed her. The new litter are only three weeks old and although I am keeping a doe she'd be to young to introduce.
I'm really scared they'll start pining for their sibling. Is there anything I can do to make it easier for them (or for me rather as I am probably just too sentimental)?
