Loki is my first rabbit that I have had actual ownership of. I fell in love with a rabbit at the daycare I used to work at, but she was not mine, and so I couldn't keep her when I left. I found Loki at a pet store, she was all by herself and the manager was trying to "get rid of her" stating, "no one wants a black bunny." The guy also told me she was a Rex :-/
Loki has always been pure trouble and mischief (as the name implies) and I wouldn't have her any other way. She's a constant source of surprise and hilarity. She is very affectionate, but only on her terms; we call her brief moments of attention "drive-by bunny." She'll hop in your lap, want to be pet for 10 seconds and then she's off to do bunny things.
We decided to get her a friend to share her life with and help keep her out of trouble when she was 5 months old, and that's where her buddy Lorenzo came in. They are slowly coming around to being friends at this point. The beginning was rough as Enzo was so shy and scared and she was so..displeased about sharing her territory with her new pal. I'm hoping to see their mutual indifference morph into some affection soon. This is my first experience in bunny bonding so I'm hoping things are going as well as they seem!
