My daughter, Ally donated her hair to Locks ofLove yesterday. They put her hair (about 12 inches) in a ponytail and cut it all off! I nearly cried, but she was happywith her new, short hair-do. I think it looks cute,too. I'll post up a pic soon.

That's so nice! ya know... I've been thinkingabout doing the same thing myself. Maybe this'll motivate me! I've beenin will/won't/will/won't land for awhile, but I'm pretty sure I will.

I'd love to do something like this, but I thinkmy hairs too damaged. To tell the truth, I would like to shave it offand start out fresh.. I wear my hair up so much it's damaged it so bad.

Locks of Love is a great organization. I've hadfriends who donated their hair. I dye my hair often, and couldn't standhaving really long hair, thought I'd love to donate.

Spring, my stylist says that the best way to hide damaged hair is todye it a dark color like chocolate brown or black. It hides the damagevery well, butthe coloralso depends on your skintone too.

such a cute cut and such a good cause!!! Mymanager did the same thing back in Feb. Her husband died last summerand she donated on his birthday. I went with her and also cut my hairat the same time. My hair wasn't long enough to donate but I wanted tocut it short anyway.

It is so great your daughter is so thoughtfuland caring!! My brother also donates his hair to locks of love, hishair is GORGEOUS!!(I'm just a little jealous!!:?) But its a goodcause!!:great: to your daughter!!
