Hello,

Rabbits are fairly new to me. I was living in the concrete jungle of Long Beach CA this past July when I spotted a little rabbit in the alley by my house. Considering the location, I knew the poor little thing had to be domesticated, and sure enough when I went to pick him up, he seemed to welcome the contact. When I first picked him up, I had no intention of letting him live with me, but it wasn't too long before Fufu worked his way into my heart.

Since I've never had a rabbit friend before, I'm hoping to learn a lot from you all. I have already learned something by lurking: that a neutered bunny is an easier bunny to live with, and I can't tell you how thankful I am for that information now that we are a few weeks past the neutering.

Thank you,
Autumn

Welcome to the forum :D

Sounds like Fufu was meant to live with you :) He is very lucky (as are you, as I'm sure you know) to have been found by such a caring soul.

I'm glad the forum has already helped you and I look forward to seeing you around more.

Take care

Tracy

Congrats on your new (and unexpected) bunny friend! :) It's funny how they seem to find their ways into our hearts (and homes!). :) It's wonderful that you picked him up. A lot of other people would have just kept walking. He looks happy there, all flopped out and comfy!

Welcome to the forum! He is one fortunate bunny to be found by you or you by him;). A flopped bun is a happy bun.

My herd started out with a bunny I did not want in the house and was only to stay a couple of weeks. She never left, but by then I wasenjoying having her around(I think my kids were counting on that), now I have sixteen.

Its sad sometimes people don't want an animal anymore and they just dump them. Rabbits are wonderful pets and have such unique personalities. Great pictures and I look forward to hearing more about your new life as a bunny slave. Dogs have masters, Cats have staff and Bunny's have slaves.
