Is she spayed? Rabbits poop around to mark their territory, so spaying will help eliminate the hormones and therefore she'll develop good litter habits.
Rabbits do mark their territory with poops so it's likely that those will decrease over time as she learns what territory is hers. I've found that placing my hay racks where my rabbits have to be in their litter boxes to eat them works well because they often eat and poop simultaneously.
Honestly its up to the rabbit. My lion head does all her business in the litter box but my Dutch won't even go near it. Rabbits poop where they want. If she's pooping.in.a different corner maybe try 2 boxes?
