I've been trying to litter train one of my bunnies and so far it has been unsuccessful. I observed where the Loots (my bunny's name) liked to pee and put his litter box there. However, he seems to like to sleep in it rather than take care of his business.... As far as pooping goes, he does it all over the place with no one specific area. I tried to put soiled litter in his litter box and his poo in it too hoping he would get the idea what the litter box is for, but to him it's still just a bed. Also, I noticed that he likes to pee in the corners so I tried alternating placing the litter box in different corners but he would just pee in the empty corner no matter where I put the litter box. Is there any way I can litter train him or is this a hopeless case? He was neutered about a month ago so maybe it will be easier to train him now once the hormones settle down.... Please help!

Litter training does often get easier after speutering so you're on the right track there.

Try getting more than one box to cover all his favorite spots. Some buns are just weird too; my Timmy has to have 2 boxes and sleeps in one and pees in the other. If we take either one away, he'll sleep in the one that's left and pee all over.
