Chinny was using the litter box at the petstore, but I didnt buy the kind she had, just got a little rubbermaidtub thing to use. I put in pine shavings *I know they arent thegreatest, but its what she was using* so I wanted to get her using thisbox then slowly change her litter.....

But now, she just sleeps in her box, and goes potty at the other end ofthe cage. SO I moved the box over there, she got mad and peed in hersalad? LOL So last night, I put some of the peed on cardboard in thebox and some of her poop, but I dont think she cares.

Do you think getting the kind of litter box she was using and switchingto something like wood pellets will help? I was very impressed with howmuch it looked like she used the box at the store, and she used thisone a little bit at first, but I think now she feels its more comfy asa bed? hehe

How long have you had her?? she might still begetting used to her surroundings. You could try getting the same typeof box shes used to. Is the box you are using now big enough?

She's been here about 2 weeks now...I will have to go look! lol *adding that we got her April 28th*

The box is big enough for her to lay in and stretch out. She was usingit the first few days, she peed in it and was pooping in it some, thenshe stopped. She started going at the other side of the cage and justusing the box for a bed. I got the pine shavings, because thats whatthey used at the pet store, and I was trying to keep things the same asmuch as I could. When she was using it at first, I was figuring she wasgonna keep doing that, but nope! lol

I was just going to ask the same things.

It's much easier to litter train when they're spayed, I know with my rabbits it was almost instantaneous after surgery.

You sound like you're doing the right things, so keep up with it. Also,a lot of rabbits like to chill out in their litter boxes. Mine like toeat while hanging out in theirs.

Thanks everyone! I dont mind if she's in it, butI would like her to USE IT LOL She was, then she stopped. Silly girl. Ihope she does get it, but if not, she doesnt. Would make cage cleaninga little easier
