Ok...so I have Bunny trained fully on going #1 in her litterbox, but when she's out of her cage, she still poops everywhere. Is this something I should be trying to discourage? I don't really have a problem picking it up, and she's sticking to peeing in her box, so I really don't mind so much. My husband doesn't mind either (which would be the only reason I would be discouraging it), so I really don't see a need. Is there anything wrong with this? Should I be going after her to get her to poo in her box as well? Will this lead to other behavioral problems later on?

Thanks guys!!

Rabbits use poop to mark their territory, so she just making sure you know that it's her area. Fixed rabbits tend to leave less poop outside the litter box. Just keep putting them in her box when you pick them up, and she may pick up on it or you may just have to keep picking them up.

Honestly, I don't mind picking them up, so I guess I'll just let it lie (excuse the pun...lol). So this is something that will lessen when we get her fixed?

My girl is not spayed yet, and she leaves poops out when she's running around the living room, so I doh't have any first hand experience with it. But I do know that many other people's girls have become much better with litter habits after spaying. I plan to spay Wildfire within the next year, so I guess I'll find out soon enough!

Ok...lol...we'll be getting our Bunny fixed when she's about six months old, which will be in June, so I'll let you know. :D Heehee...

Anyway, Wildfire is the PERFECT name for your bunny!! Is that a picture of her as your avatar?? CUTE!!
