So I've got a litter box and put the news paper she peed on into the litter box, sometimes. But most of the time now... It's just not working,
She pees where Evers she pleases.m
Anyone have step by step how to litter train.
Seriously need help please.

She's getting sprayed Wednesday, will that help?

I would suggest taking the fleece and maybe even the newspaper lining out of there. Rabbits tend to like soft things to pee on and will do it even when litter trained. But keep an eye out for her still peeing outside the litter box and stepping in it. You don't want her getting wet feet either. Then it would probably help to have a larger rectangular cat litter box or plastic bin that you can fit at the end of her cage that she likes to pee on the most. Sometimes rabbits don't like to feel squished into those tiny corner litter boxes. Once she's consistent at using the new litter box you can try to add the fleece back in, but for some rabbits it's just too tempting to pee on. You may have to wait a while before you can put the fleece back in there with out it getting peed on. Getting her spayed should help too.

Just a side note. You may want to try to find a hay rack that is a little bit easier to get hay out of. I don't know if she eats much hay, but that hay ball looks like it might be a bit difficult to eat the hay from. With a larger litter box, you could probably even put a small handful of her hay in a corner of the litter box, preferably a corner she doesn't pee in.

A lot of times it's just trial and error to find what works best for your rabbit.

The hay balls are ridiculous, my bun has one he inherited from my sisters rabbit. I keep the door open so he can pull out what he needs. I didn't think Zero would ever litter train because he always lived on fleece. He would constantly urinate on the little mats I put in his cage to sleep on. What I did was purchase a hanging hammock for him to have a soft place to lay on and removed all soft bedding from the bottom of his cage. I also made sure that all litter material stayed inside of the litter box. Getting a larger litter box certainly seems to have done the trick. No matter where I moved the little corner box he would urinate next to it, he was a total mess! I have since added a fleece throw that covers his door and creates a makeshift ramp and a little cat mat in the bottom of his cage that hasn't been soiled.

Good luck, I just kept moving the box until he figured it out. Putting his hay in a bowl in his box also helped.

Id suggest a bigger litter box.. What ever your using in the box do not use in the bottom of the cage. Itll be easier when shes spayed. I had one of those corner boxes and binoo refused to use it. I have found cat litter boxes are better.

You can also try hanging a hay rack above the litter box but as was suggested I would get a larger litter box. A bun does not necessarily need something soft to lay on. I tried a folded up towel with my guy when I first got him and he prefers laying on the plastic bottom. I think he prefers to be cooler so likes the plastic more even though we have AC and the house does not get hot.

So if you get rid of the fleece and newspaper on the cage floor. get a larger litter box that your bun can fit in comfortably. Pay attention then to see if the buns pees mostly in one spot. If she does then place the litter box there. Any poop outside the litter box place into the box. Any pee outside soak up with a piece of paper towel and place that in the litter box. Keep the cage as clean as possible. I use vinegar/water to clean as it gets rid of the pee smell. Otherwise although you may not smell the pee the cage will smell like pee to your bun. Once she starts using it I would then for the first week not completely clean the litter box, replace the litter but not scrub it out. This worked with my two new buns that were over a year and had not been litter trained.

Larger little box is on its way,
It's so hard to little train,
She has no specific spot,
I've taken everything out and re done it All and taken all your advice thank you
But she is a stubborn little thing.
She doesn't like change just like meeee

Also how big is the cage? Binoo was in a small cage when he was little and he didnt have a spot either.

She has a spot, but when I put the tray there, she moves her spot, then when I put the litter tray there she moves it again, she's becoming a pain hahaaaaa

Might have to because when I put the tray on one side, she pees on the opposite.
So I will have to try two trays
Thank you for that suggestion,

I don't think you should cover the floor with anything. That will help her get the hint that the litter box is where to go. Just periodically pick up any stray droppings and put them in the litter box.

Rabbits tend to really love to pee on soft things. So those blankets probably won't help in litter training, she'll just want to pee on the fleece.
Taking the blanket out and probably the bed, will help. That way, you can soak up the pee with a bit of paper towel and put it in the litter box.

I know it seems cruel to have no bedding, but I've found that my rabbit prefers to lay with no bedding. I put a blanket in the floor for her and she lays on it for like 3 minutes then moves to the bare floor.
I would do NO bedding at all, until she understands the litter box better.

Is there any litter under all that hay, or is it just hay? It doesn't matter, I was just curious.
