When I started really focusing on Felipe's litter training, he did great with peeing. After a couple days all the pee was going in the little box. I just can't get him to poop in there! I switched to a rectangular box and put his hay and food bowl in there. I throw all his poops in the box. Here are a couple pics of my set up, it's a little too crowded with the rectangular box but he is out of the cage for at least 3-4 hours during the week, more during the weekend. He is not desexed yet. Anyone have any suggestions?

I put his hay and all his food in his litter tray too. Maybe yours can reach the food from outside his litter - he seems to be eating his pellets next to his box in the second picture and maybe he can reach his veggies from the sides too. Mine's only 16 weeks old and I doubt he's litter trained but he does most of his business in his litter because that,s where his food is. I'm sure if I moved his food there would be poop all over

Wanted to add he is out of the cage 3-4 a day during the week, not 3-4 total in a week. He goes back into his cage to poop when he is roaming the living room.
