Furby and Ellie(both females) were spayed about 3weeks ago. SInce then they pee religiously in their litter box. But they now poop out of their box almost all of the time.

In the morning I come downstairs and the wall is just lined with them. They were getting so good but I dont know what has happened. Any suggestions to get them to go in their box? I place all of the poops in the box but they just make a mess again!!:colors:

First of all, it usually takes a few weeks after a spay for their litter habits to even out. For now, you can place all of the stray poops in the litter box. If they go heavily in a certain area, it would be easier just to add a second litter box. I had the same problem with Devon, he would go in the litter box but insisted on also using another corner. Life got a lot easier when I just gave in and put a box there!

well they used to go in 2 boxes but now no matter what I do they move 1 of them and then poop everywhere. Not just in one corner but literally everywhere!! Its like poop city!!!!

Then try giving it some more time and putting the poop in the box.

MooShu uses the litter pan to pee, but refuses to poop in it.
At one point I had several litter pans for her...almost so many that the floor of her cage was covered. She would toss one out of the way and then poop there. I gave up after a while. Now she has one pan that she pees in and she only poops in one spot in her cage.
