Hello, everyone :D.

I'm new to posting on forums ;please bear with me . I'm about to purchase 2 Flemish giantsand am planning to use litter boxes in their(outdoor)hutches as well as solid wood floors.

I recently e-mailed a lady in Canada whoalso raises Flemish ;and she convinced me that allwooden floors are the best way to go !

I've litter-trained a rabbit beforeand therefore do not anticipate any problems, but I'm havingtrouble finding the right kind of kitty litter.( absorbentpellets that don't clump and are perfume-free )

Does anyone have a suggestion ?

thanks, Kadesh Tolesa :pinkpansy:

p.s. wish there was a "Myst" smiley :)

Better than those is woody pet!!

http://www.woodypet.com

You can check there to see if its in your area...I love that stuff!! INEVER smell bunny (or evidence of I should say!) and I have 3 of themin a fairly small room!

I've read the dust from kitty litter can be bad for the bunnies too!

Welcome to the forum Kadesh Tolesa.......

I use Woody PetIt isvery inexpensive compared to other litter and itgoes along way.

Oh yeah, good point....I pay 5 bucks for a 30lbbag...and I'm still figuring it out...you don't need much as it expandswhen it gets wet...I still tend to use too much and the first bag Ihave has lasted so far almost 2 months for 3 bunnies, and I still haveprolly at least a couple weeks worth left.

If you can't find Woody Pet, you can use Feline Pine. It's a little more expensive, but it's basically the same thing.
