I've had Weston for a little over 2 weeks. He's about 3 months old. He has been doing exceptionally well in using his litter boxes. When he is in his cage he uses his box 99% of the time. The past few days he has been using his litter box on my bed when he's been out. Until last night he only had 2 accidents (poo) in the past 3 days. He was doing really well yesterday morning and early afternoon, but as the day progressed he stopped using the litter box. It was pretty clean so that wasn't the issue. The first time he climbed up on my pillows and peed on them. The second time he peed right by my side. The third time I left the room and when I came back he had peed where I was sitting. And then he pooped all around his litter box. He'll even move the box over and go where it was sitting.
Any idea why he has started doing this?

Like the "Lewis and Clark Expedition", claiming territory. Esther used to get up on the couch and when you went in the kitchen and came back she'd be where you were and would growl when you moved her. Of course, the house and all the furnishings were hers.

Feel luvky if majority of pellets get in litter box, took my boy a year to finally hit almost perfection
