Hello, my 8 week old lionhead bunny is a runt is so cute and attached to me. Her name is Nova and she is just the cutest thing.:D Yesterday night I picked her up to play with her, she was totally fine. I picked her up again after to put her back and she was struggling to get up from her back and when she did she right leg was making her limp. After awhile she was fine and I tested it by taking her out again. Everything was normal and she is still fine now but it was just concerning me. Please let me know.

Thanks:)

Here is a picture of her, just so y'all can see. I don't know if the pictures helps but I was just concerned about her, even thought she is fine now. I just found that odd.

Ah, I would refrain from turning her on her back, most rabbits do not like being picked up, and even less in that position. they can be like frozen for some time, then struggle violently to get away, and that's something they are not built for, and they can be hurt badly.

If your bunny struggles best thing is to go down and let it hop out of your arms in a controlled way, so it would be a good idea to practice that in her run a few times a day, combined with a treat (small amount of pellets for example).

For how long do you have that rabbit now?

I didn't put her on her back I put her on the floor to play because she loves attention and I play with her a lot. When I put her down she went to her back. I let her out for about 4 hours a day. I give her treats sometimes like pellets but I don't give them everyday. She is fine now but I just wanted to know why this happened, and if it happens again what to do. I've had her for 9 weeks she just turned 9 weeks today. Her mother gave birth to her so I've known he since she was a newborn.

Thanks
