Here's some updated pics of the kits. I took these pics today :) They are 5 days old!! SOO big!! Every morning they have huge round bellies and they are starting to move around more! Soon they will be opening their eyes! Soo excited :)

I'm thinking that they are both black tortiose. What do you guys think? I was really hoping for something other than broken orange & black tortiose because that's what the mom and dad are and I wanted a different color but whatever color is fine of course :)

Also they seem to have white specks of something on their body and in their ears and behind their neck. What is this?? It really worries me because it doesn't seem normal. They only thing I can think of is fur mites. What do you guys think?? The only other rabbits I have are the parents Lila and Charlie and they have NO signs of fur mites. They have no dandruff. The only sign they have is fur loss but I think the fur loss is due to molting cause they have no bald spots. Please let me know what you guys think this is!!

Thanks everyone!!

They are both black torts. :) There really isn't much of a chance for anything else, genetically. Black tort and orange are both the same color, only different by one gene. So unless you had a recessive pop up, they're your only two options. :)

I wouldn't worry much about the "dandruff." I'm honestly not sure if it's dead skin molting off or dried milk or what, but it is very common. I see it a lot in my Holland Lop litters, and it's gone by the time they're 3 or so weeks old.

Are you keeping either or both? I thought I read before you were keeping one and selling one, but now I can't find where I read that, If so are we thinking Pink or Blue for you?

I'm planning on keeping one and selling the other :) The reason I bred my buns was to get the "perfect show rabbit" and of course cause I lovee bunnies!! I wish I could keep them both but I don't have living space for 4 buns :( so we'll see... What do you mean by pink or blue?

Kinda leaning towards a boy because my boy bun that I currently have is such a sweetheart! He is soo tame and follows me everywhere. My girl bunny is very territorial, nips sometimes, and isn't very tame but she is very sweet some days lol :) But I wouldn't mind trying to raise another girl cause I'm sure I could work harder to make her a lil more tame then her mamma :)
