For anyone that doesn't know what it is - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_painting

Here's a few I've done :D

Painted with a flashlight.

Anyone like? :biggrin2:

Those are lovely! I've done some with car headlights, the moon and streetlights, I'll have to find them and upload them

Bo you should be able to do it on any camera that has a nightmode, that's how I do it anyway. The shutter is open to ages to let lots of light in. If you have a stationary light source, you can move the camera around in swirly motions and you get something quite cool (if a bit messy).

My cousins girlfriend when there was a power cut;

Relating to this, my friend is doing the most amazing thing for her photography work. She is doing a slow shutter speed in the dark type thing. She is getting some of the dance people in a dark room, they get into one position, then put a flash of coloured light on for a few seconds, then back to darkness and they get into a different position, and then flash a different coloured light. The effect is all these coloured ghostly images overlaid on each other. Its really amazing.

That is very cool! :D

Bo, I have a olympus camera. I can't remember the model or anything off the top of my head so I'll look when I get back home (I'm leaving in about a minute). :p

I love light painting! One of the photography magazines I subscribe to had an article about it recently- how to do it at home, a really great photographer that does amazing lightpaintings (I forget his name now...), etc....

I keep meaning to give it a try some day!

Yours look great Boz! :)
