I was sitting down to write the news when my doorbell rang. It was the cutest little interruption you ever did see...well two little interruptions, that is...

How old do you think they are?

That little stripey one is adorable! (and I am more of a black cat kinda girl lol)..... Ok well they both are really adorable!

Cute! :inlove:

They can't be much older then 3 to 4 weeks because their eyes are still a cloudy blue.

Yes, I'd say about that. They were found under an abandoned house. Now my friends just have to keep them alive. I have more hope for the striped one. He was much more active and vocal.

walmart has kitten bottles and formula;)

they're so cute! i just love baby animals:inlove:(hence why i know walmart has kitten bottles-i got one to feed my toys with when i was little:tongue)

Yes, Wal-Mart has baby formula but it's not the healthiest for a kitten trying to strive.

When I was handraising a kitten from day 1, we started using KMR from Wal-Mart but ended up switching to Kitten Formula Pro Biolac by Vet Solutions. Boy was their a difference in her growth and overall appearance! We were able to get ours from our vet but I'm not sure just how many carry it. You can buy it online as it comes in a powder form.

Best of Luck to your friend!

i figured, but for a quick fix for a day or two, something's better than nothing, right;)?

Well, my friend has a friend who is a vet tech...so they probably got something pretty good. She says they are much more active, hungry and healthy today. We gave them a quick bath yesterday because it smells like someone had sprayed pesticides under the house and they might have been rolling in it or caught up in it in some way. One of the kittens' eyes doesn't look too good, and may have been affected by it. I'll be thrilled if they survive, but hubby told me not to get attached to them anyway. heh...he is so not a cat person!
