Nibbles has always done this to some extent, but recently it seems like it's become a full-blown obsession!!

He'll stretch out all comfy in various places of his NIC cage and proceed to lick the floor in front of him. We have foam padding covered with bed sheets, so he's really licking the sheets. He will lay there for 5-10 minutes JUST LICKING. Yesterday he licked one spot for so long it left a 3-4" diameter wet spot!

Any idea what's up with this? I promise we didn't wash the sheets in honey, so it can't taste that great. It just seems like the weirdest thing.

It's probably harmless & keeps him from doing something destructive, so you might want to leave licking rabbits lie, just like sleeping dogs. But you might want to add a little vinegar to the last rinse of the sheets, to see if that helps. Or if you use a fabric soffener you might want to stop.

Q does it too. I think she's going "I love the sheets. They smell like you. SO I'm gonna groom them".

I get my pillow thoroughly groomed every night before bed. :p

OK, good to know he's not a crazy-bun. He doesn't ever lick my hand, but sometimes he'll lick my pants. I guess I'm glad he leaves wet spots on his own sheets and not my pants!

It's how he's saying he loves you (and all your stuff). Bunnies groom each other. Therefore, you've been elevated to bunny-status. :D
I always get really cuddly with Q when she grooms my pants because she wants to get all groomy with me, I'm not going to lick her (ew, fluff!), but I can snuggle her and give her kisses. :D
