What kind of lettuce would you give a rabbit?

Romaine lettuce is ok, it's what I feed mine.

Stay away from iceberg as it can kill a rabbit.

What is in Iceberg that can kill rabbits. I am just wondering...I dont feed it to mine or anything. I give them Romaine.

I'm not exactly sure why it is. I've heard thatit's too watery and not many minerals. Perhaps they eat a lot and endup taking in more water than needed and that's why they get diarrhea,I'm not sure.

yea i thought it was not good to feed because it has no nutrional value i did not know it could kill them

:?I can't find if cabbage is good orbad. Although the HRS site says cabbage is good for lowering bloodcalcium levels. So I'm guessing it is safe.
