SoI decided today to put up our tree and other decorations. Here are a few pictures. Lets see everyones decorations.

Well these are last year's but since I probably won't be celebrating Christmas this year () I thought I'd share the old ones ...

Last year was my first Christmas not living at my parent's and also my first with MrBinky.

My absolute favorite thing was my village ... I used styrofoam from MrBinky's computer box and made levels for the village...

A close up of the tree... Luckily, we all agreed on disliking garland. The orange slices were an idea from Greece that I loved. I wanted to incorporate some of those things so I thought it was a great addition.

This is what it looked like without the curtains and extras (MIL sewed the curtains once we all agreed on the material - I was picky and glad I was...)

And this is what the room looked like with everything...

Not bad for our first time and for being in a 3 1/2. I hate the white walls. GRRRRRRRRRRR.

I haven't put anything up yet. Once I get done painting the hallway and living room I may get the tree out. I only have one wall left to do in the livingroom - YAY!

We usually put our deckies up at the beginning of December - but the tree goes up 17th of December (day after my birthday). I'm feeling so christmassy now though - I could put up a few decorations already!:biggrin2:It was even snowing yesterday whichput me in even more of a Christmas mood!

I'm not decorating this year, but before I stopped celebratingI used to make my room (and then later on my house) like a grotto. I don't have any pics though, but I loved my decorations

Susan i am ssssssssooooooooooo jealous of your light colored furnature. That would last about 27 seconds before someone peed on it, or touched it with crudy fingers, or got snoogers on it,lol :shock:

Haha, we get ours like a week before x-mas.

Except this year my Mom is being a little Scrooge and wants to get a small fake tree :rollseyes.
