Sorry, but Once again I need some advice. I have been looking at furby and ellies feet and on the top part of the feet just behind the nails, there seem to be little areas, 1 on each toe, that seem to have lost the hair on them. The ares on each are about 2mm big.
I know rex rabbits have thin fur. Could this be the reason?

The areas are not red(just look like normal sin underneath and dont seem to be itchy. I dont think they are bothered by it at all. Me on the other hand.....

Thanks

here are some piccies. Apologies for being so blurred but Furby kept trying to eat the camera!!

This can sometimes be caused by over-grooming or a fungal infection. Try a little iodine on the toes.

will do. I know they groom their feet a lot. if fact they groom everywhere a lot!! When they were together, they just used to sit for ages and groom each other.

If it is from over-grooming, don't put the iodine on the toes. (Just for suspected fungal infection).

I have just thought of something else. Since the front feet only have a small amount missing and all photos are of the back feet and are similar on both, could it be from when they do their half bunny flops on the concrete and the top of the back paws lie on concrete?

Any thoughts?

When I saw the pictures, I thought it looked similar to fur loss caused by rubbing on things (cage bars etc, concrete in your case) Could well be as simple a reason as this. If it bothers you, maybe cover the concrete up with a bit of material or such. If they don't seem to be in pain, I wouldn't worry too much.

It doesnt really bother me but I just worry about them. Like what if I am doing something that is hurting them etc etc. I just hope I calm down soon. Probably get high blood pressure becasue of the bunnies!:colors:
