Kirby's soooo floppy

When i first got Kirby he would just sit24/7. He'd sit in his sleep. Then as the months went by he started to lie down and kick out his legs to take a load off. In the last month or so he is the biggest dead-bunny-flopper. Look at this.

Any given time at night while I'm home he's just flopped like that!

He's so lazy! Flopping could only be good right? I know it's hot in the summer but my fur kids get AC anytime the forecast says 80 or higher. I turn it off at night and turn on the fan.

i beleive the dead bunny flop means that they are relaxed and comfy, they wouldnt do it if they were not comfy. And i believe another reason why they do it is to see how fast mom can move cause she thinks i died,lol

Tell me about it :twitch:But it's so sweet that he is relaxed. Kirby's come a long way. I knew DBFs were a good sign. But he's flopping all the time. It's no wonder he gained a few ounces this summer.

Candyfloss flops like that all the time, she seems to flop through happiness, through heat and also, bizarrely through anxiety, so maybe Kirby is doing it with something else other than happiness. Chances are though he is just a very happy bunny

Ha! I think a bit may have to do with the heat, but he's probably warming up to you more and more each day!

James - LOL. Kirby has issues of rabbit national security in mind...

Maybe he was hot and bothered from the weather change and his molting. He doesn't flop quite as much anymore but once in a while he'll still DBF.
