Keep getting these really weird phone calls from 123-456-7890???

Has anyone gotten these calls from someone?

They call at least once a day, we usually ignore them but sometimes by accident if I am expecting a call Ijust pick it up and then look after to find outit wasthe strange number. The times I (or someone else) has picked up, it's always someone with an accent asking for the man of the house - WAY mispronouncing our last name too!

Looked it up on google and got a few different answers for what it is..

Not sure how to get rid of them, definitely a fake number, but it's getting annoying. Anyone know a way to block their number at all :??

Call your phone company. They should be able to help you out.

Not sure what the laws are there, but here, they have changed them, so it's not supposed to ever say "unavailaible" or "out of area" any longer. Of course, we still get them occasionally. You could answer and tell them to take you off their call list and if they call again, tell them again and that you will contact an attorney, that should stop it.

(I know years ago, there was a way to "block" it was star something, not sure ifthat still works or what the digits were.)

don't you hate it when that happens? we had a bunch of calls that(i don't think we ever answered)that sound like yours. they'd call one, two some times three times a day. and the phone number was 000-000-0000! stupid people! it makes me ticked just thinking about it!

I think that means whoever is calling is calling through Skype. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skype It makes phone calls through the internet. I'm not SURE, but I got calls from the number one day.

I had a friend over and we both got calls from that number within an hour, and it was someone using recorded voices of celebrities saying phrases... well the point is it was a friend making a prank call and he was using skype. Yeah
