Kaytee Soft Sorbent Lavender

do any of you use this product? i used to til i took thumper to the vet for an eye infection. it was inflammed lookin and he kept scratchin at it. my vet said it was because of the bedding i was using that his eye was irritated. so i switched him off of it and he's fine. just wanted to warn everyone out there

I was wondering about that stuff.. Thought it would smell pretty but I couldn't bring myself to buy it. Thank you for the info, I'll stick to what we're now usung

Scented litter she be stayed away from in general-for all animals. It is in general a horrible product...the scents may be pleasing to us but are often too strong for our sensitive (and better at smelling) animals and can cause respitory problems.

Aromic wood (Ceder, ect) is also not reconmended for no only smells but oils.

My rabbit hated the Kaytee Soft Sorbent stuff. She shoved it all out of her litter box right away (so I had to go buy her some carefresh @_@)

In my opinion it gets EVERYWHERE, and just seems too fine (like sand almost) to really work well.

Also, my friend's bun accidentally inhaled some once and spent a good 15 minutes sneezing XD

That's why only certain litters should be used, I know the ones w/ Cedar cause kidney damage/failure. This stuff can't be far off...
