My daughter and I are just starting a small family run rabbitry. We currently have 2 mini rex bucks (Yusei and Jack), 1 netherland dwarf buck (uno), 1 netherland dwarf doe (Monica), 2 dutch does (Melody and Fiona), 2 lionhead bucks (frankie and Leo) and 2 lionhead does (Sara and Chloe). As I'm sure you can guess my daughter has named most of the bunnies. We started out with a pet bunny and somehow the idea just grew. Next thing you know my husband is building cages and outdoor bunny runs, and cricket (my daughter's nick name) and I are out scouting bunnies. It has been really fun and has helped her quite a bit. She is adhd, ocd, odd, with some bipolar issues, and helping with the numerous responsibilities of having 10 rabbits has really helped her focus and control her mood swings. They have even had a calming presence on my son who is autistic (with some adhd mixed in for fun) It went from pets, to therapy, now its a family buisness.....and we are very excited!!

If you everhave a sick bunny, please post in The Infirmary and include your rabbit's age, breed and health history as well diet and output details leading up to the problem.
