And I must say I once again fell in love the theCreme D'Argents. They reminded me of a slightly smaller version of afawn Flemish. If I was able to have another rabbit it would be at thetop of my list.:)

The Cremes are stunning. I'm judging aCreme specialty show this fall. It's difficult to get a goodphoto of their coat color -- photos on the internet just don't do themjustice.

Wow, they are beautiful Mambo...I can see whyyou fell in love with them! I once owned a Champagne d'Argent (Darcy). She was an impulse purchase, having gone to a local fair to watch thehorse trials, no intentions of coming home with anything...and thenwalking through a section where someone was introducing the breed andselling them as meat rabbits. My heart melted when I saw them and ofcourse, I had to rescue one! LOL. So Darcy came home with me...and shewas an absolute sweetheart.

I know that the Champagnes are a bit unusual in that the babies' coatscome in pure black, but the 'champagne' color develops as they mature.Do you know if this is true of the Cremes?

If you ever do get one you know you'll have to post lots of pics! ;)

Also true of the Cremes -- they are born pure orange, then the "thick cream" mixes in as they age :)

The ones I saw were "Grand Champions" inthe meat pen category, but when I talk to the breeder she said shewould never sell them as meat rabbits, just for show or pet.

Yeah I know what you mean. I hate it when peopledo that as meat when there are thousands of people and kids walking byto see some buns. It hurts to see those inocent faces of all animals tobe put as meats.
