What are you building for? A bonded pair, 2 singles? How many grids did you get? How much space do you have?

I would recommend a 2X3 or 2X4 grid cage. It should be at least 2 high. You can have levels or shelves if you want as well.

Look at pictures of what other people have done and see if any appeal to you.

Hey thanks, that's a great idea bc you gave him a place to run too! Well I bought 3 boxes, and it will be for 2 rabbits, hopefully lol they're not bonded yet.i stared tonight, and I'm trying to be creative, but of coarse I ran out of zip ties ugh lol

Mdith4him - love, love, love our NIC condo. Wondering where you purchased the NIC panels and are the inside size of each panel 1 1/2 inches. Have read so much about the grids being larger and a danger hazard for little bunnies. Thanks

We bought ours at Kmart (23 grids for $17). The holes are the smaller kind (not the newer larger holes). The bigger holes are dangerous for smaller bunnies, so we made sure to get a safe kind. So far ours are holding up very well!

I love NIC cages, they have to be my favourite in bun housing. Just so customizable and easy to change. I always needed over 100 zip ties for a whole cage. :p

you can use cavycages.com and check out the 'other pets' section or just look at guinea pig cages but keep in mind that it'd have to be at least 2 grids tall.

I've had Peppy in a 2x3 when he was small, a 2x4, a 3x4 and all different kinds of levels. 3x1 or an L shaped level mostly.

I need ideas, sometimes I get a burst of creativity, but thats kind of rare, and it doesn't seem to be happening at the moment hahaha! Very excited though!!

I just posted a new topic but wanted to show you Amy's new setup. She loves it!

For the shelves I used the extra NICs and then put a fleece covered thin piece of wood. Amy only pees in the litter box so I'm not too worried about the wood. Same with the ramp only no NICs. Oh I covered the ramp with a pillow case than I cut open the other end. She climbs in there and sleeps in it like it's a hammock:) Very cute!! I picked the fleece cuz it's sports themed and matches my sons room:)
