Just a question about neutering

I have a holland lop that we got when he was 3 years old. We've had him for about six months now, and I'm wondering if he's too old to get neutered. He's not aggressive and he doesn't spray or anything, he just likes to hump things. He has a stuffed sheep for that right now, but I'd love it if I could stop it some!

There is no reason that I know of not to fix a rabbit this age, as long as he's healthy, which the vet should check.

We got one from the shelter that was 7 and the first thing we got for him was a snipping. Unless your bunny's health is bad there shouldn't be a reason not to neuter.

When they get to 6+ then a blood test to check organ function first is something to consider, but 3yrs old is still a young bun

I could have sworn I read somewhere that rabbits over 3 years can't be neutered.. It's good they can be. I'll be saving up and getting my baby boy done soon.

At 3, he is still young and healthy and will tolerate surgery better than a much older rabbit. He still has many years to develop testicular tumors. I'd consider having him neutered.
