Hi everyone! I am so happy to be joining this forum and finding such a large and kind community filled with people just like me- people who LOVE buns!
My rabbits name is Chewy. She is a female and she is about 9 years old. I got Chewy when she was just 3 months old and could fit in my hand, and now she is a lovely full-grown lady.
Chewy was supposedly a dwarf bunny (as told to us by the pet store we purchased her at) but we soon found out that she was not, as she grew to be something around 7-8 pounds! Now she weighs in at 5 pounds, 13 oz. Chewy is a french bun, and she is black and white, although not a dutch. Her coloring and markings are beautiful and unique- she always gets comments on how beautiful she is
I always wanted a bunny when I was little, not a cat or a dog, and I got my wish. Chewy is a part of my family and has participated in so many family events with us. We brought her up to CT once to visit family, she has been to birthday parties... She is the sweetest little bunny :halo. She is always in good spirits, and vets and others have noted her personality- she has a very strong one, with unique characteristics and a very feisty attitude with a whole lot of spunk. Who ever said rabbits didn't have personalities is so mistaken!
Chewy enjoys a diet of orchard grass, timothy pellets, baby carrots, string beans, granny smith apple, and banana. She loves the toys from the company Busy Bunny, her favorite being the willow tunnel.
She has a toy bunny Vanilla with a bell in it. She loves to throw her around, but she always has her at her side when she lies down. She goes outside as well; we live in NYC but in a neighborhood where we are provided with lots of grass and space for her to run.
I look forward to meeting all of you here!
I'll post some pictures of my honey bunny after this.
