Jenni is a mixed breed rabbit and is originally brown all over with black tips. White fur underneat

Lately i am noticing she went black alot on her back im really worried. what could be wrong?

she could have shed her summer coat and the color underneath is darker. Rabbits can change color depending on temperature, light, age,; certain breeds do change colors

I don't think this a health issues ; I am going to move it to the Rabbitry section where different breeders can talk to you about color changes

I have also seen castor colored rabbit do this as well. Apple was a good example of this, she was a medium, chocolate brown and then turned blacker and blacker across her back. a picture could be very helpful.
Here's a youth picture of Apple. I don't remember how old she was when she had turned this far black, but she did eventually get darker and finally it mixed over and she steadied out.

Apple was darker as she got older, she passed a couple years ago, but that was all I could think of right now for the color changing

now that I have thought about it, I had a castor baby born to Poppy. I sold her since I'm not interested in Castor, Chin's blue and blue otter mainly, but here is what she looked like before she left me.

That was Flash at 6 weeks old (Above)

This is Flash at almost 2 years from his new owner (Below)

So is that the kind of darkening you are talking about? I labeled Flash as a Chestnut Agouti, I have seen them get darker, My Gray dutch buck has also darkened like Flash.

You should see Bun Bun's coat changing! On some of his summer coats, his gray points almost completely disapear on his feet and only a gray dot on his nose. His ears and tail seem to be the only gray points that survive.
During the winter coat their fur gets darker, so his gray feet and snout return.
He does seem to fade as he gets older though....
