I've been noticing Spots acting quite strangelylately, as if he hasn't been neutered. For instance, he'll come byanyone nearby and start running around our legs. He also wants moreattention than usual lately.

Apparently though (this is what my sister said), Spots had been neutered before we purchased him.

So my questions are:

1) Has Spots been neutered yet?

2) If we're not in the right "financial state" right now to pay for a neuter, will it affect his life in a bad way?

Thank you =)

Where's you buy him from? What you're explaining sounds like textbook mating behaviour.

How old is he? You can do a poor-man's exam by feeling for histesticles. If they're there, he's not neutered. Keep in mind he canpull them up into his body so you'll have to feel for 'em.

You don't have to neuter him. It's just done to alter behaviour. If all he's doing is craving more attention there's no real reason whyhe should be fixed.

Are there stress issues for long-term? I want to know what I should look out for just in case there's a negative affect.

If he stay not neutered? Doubtful. He just mayhump things from time to time. Please do a manual check, though; beforeyou start worrying about it.
