I know a lot of you get lot's of snow already but seriously we hardly ever get proper snow! yay! Going to go outside now, it's just started!

Snowing here- FINALLY! It was like the rest of the UK got covered and Bristol was forgotten.

It's not super heavy yet but it's enough to cover shed roofs etc and it's settling. The sky is a really pale yellowy colour.

Hooray for snow- I don't think I remember seeing it at Christmas time for years, if ever!

grey sky this morning tho':)

I went out in the snow last night at like half 4 in the morning just to let the snow drops fall on my tongue was really cool!

Me and the snow are going to have a little falling out.

The council haven't gritted any of the roads around Bristol at all by the sounds of it and it's taking about an hour and a half to make a 5 minute journey. My mum took that long getting to me. There's a humpback bridge on the main road just outside our close that I can see from our window that is so dangerous cars are falling back down it left right and centre. People are trying to push the cars and are falling over. Steve called the council because he was one of those cars and they said their systems showed it was inspected at 10am and no ice was found. Um, HELLO? There's a whole inch of sheet ice there! They said they'll investigate it within the next 72 hours. :grumpy:

I have a hospital appointment this afternoon that I've been waiting months for and I still haven't got Steve's Christmas present- both of those things look unlikely to happen now! :grumpy::grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

But, the snow is so pretty :)

Hullo all. Well, we have wonderful snow here in the Peak District. More snowfall tonight too ...

Am lucky, I'm off work sick so don't have to worry about going into work, and I'm not venturing past the rabbit hutch as knowing my luck I'll end up falling over and hurting myself even more ...

I'll do the sensible thing .. and just enjoy it from the patio door!

Keep warm everyone ..

This is so unfair. I'm too far South. Haven't seen a single snowflake but it's really cold. First time this year the bunny bottles froze.

I'm kinda shocked we have been well in the minus's in limerick and not one of the bottles have frozen! The snow has cleared up in Limerick!

no snow or frozen bunny bottles here either:shock: yet another morning when i find my two have ignored all the extra fleeces and hay, and are lounging around on the one patch of concrete they can find.:?

Bottle and bowl of water frozzen.
Bin lid frozen shut
Fingers frozen stiff
Leg sore from slipping
Lovely arty snow.

we still have a light dusting of snow here. wow can't believe some of you haven't had any, don't know if that is a good or bad thing?
Tried to get into the shed today to get some nails and found that it was that cold that the stone block we use to keep the door shut had froze to the ground in the end we poured boiling hot water on it and it still wouldn't budge, I then tried hitting it with a hammer, still wouldn't move! I then pulled on it with all my might to which it suddenly moved and I ended up falling on me butt lol!
