It's SLINKY time!

Recently I purchased a plastic slinky from thedollar store ( gotta love the $ store). The bunnies just loveit, especially Gracie. Gracie will sit there for hourspulling it letting it spring back and pulling it again.Yesterday, I was playing with it and did not realize that Gracie wasdown at my feet. She grabbed the end of the slinkyand ran with it. She took off so fast, that I did not havetime to react. She ran right across the room and around thelove seat. I never realized how far those things stretchLOL! I guess when she got as far as it stretchesshe let go of it and THWAP I got the slinky back.... right in my face!It really startled me and I yelled when it hit me. I lookdown and there are two very sheepish eyes looking at me. Ithink I scared her more than the slinky scared me.

Aww, so cute! Poor Gracie had no ideashe was causing trouble. I'll have to get one of those for mybuns. Their favorite thing to play with is the doorstops. They are springs with rubber tips. I thinkthey like the "boing" sound it makes when they move it.

Oreo loves her slinky!!! I haven't given anyoneelse one yet...tryint to alternate their toys some....they do love thelil metal sauce cups I got them tho, perfect size for throwing aroundthe cage and making LOTS of noise! 4 of em for a buck at dollar tree!

Cleo plays with the doorstops too. Thefirst time she did this, my husband and I were sitting in thelivingroom and we here that "boing" noise. It really startledus because we had just come home and we thought someone was in thehouse! We got up the nerve to go and look and there was Cleobehind the door having a great old time.

PPG you are brave... noisy toys in a cage.... yikes... I'd never get any sleep LOL

Awwwwwwww so cute. I used to have a metalslinky, but it dissappeared. I've been wanting to buy an plastic onefor them forever. I hope that I'll remeber the next time I'm at anstore.

They also have a hard plastic pacifier...its like a gift fora shower type thing..not a real pacifier...they like to grab that andrun it down the side of the cage...anything that makes noise iscool!!!

I need to hit the Dollar store for some newtoys. I can supply my ferrets with toys from theretoo. I feel my poor buns are deprived of toys. Theyneed more, they only have a huge box full.

It's funny how I can go but the most fancy toys made for rabbits. They like the 50 cent slinky the most....:?

Try hooking it to something so it is hanging down...they are so puzzled and they work so hard to get it down.

My buns LOVE the slinky. Guin willplay with it, tossing it then retrieving it. Anubis has onehanging in his cage. It is the funniest thing to see him pullthe slinky down and then let it go only to have it bounce in his face =)

I found all sorts of goodies at the dollar store...got somebaby toys that they enjoy too!! Spent about 15 bucks totaland got lots of stuff! So far the overall favorite are the small metalsauce cups...small enuff they can get ahold of em easily and throwem...man are they loud at 3 am!
