It's a small world

I was hosting an adoption event at Petco today and who do I meet? Elfmommy's sister and her family!! One of their boys fell in love with our little Nethie Nutmeg and the other one fell in love with sweet Patches. Who knows....maybe there is another bunny in their future. I "babysat" the boys while mom and dad shopped today so they could cuddle the bunnies.

It was delightful to meet them!

She called me immediately to tell me! How did Dad react to the boys wanting more bunnies? LOL

It was a total surprise. We were talking rabbit and they mentioned a palomino. I said that I know someone in Jacksonville that had a pal recently pass and adopted a mini-rex. Sis asked "and what would that person's name be". LOL.....it was Elfmommy.

He actually seemed pretty amenable to it. He really liked Patches. I got the impression that the deal wasn't totally off the table.

You need to convince your sister to get Cinnabunny spayed. It sounds like she is getting to the age where the chances of uterine cancer get pretty high. She can get her spayed for $50 through our B.U.N.S. program.
